what an experience.. lolz. too much to be typed down, i'll give a summary about it.
SOMEWORDSTODESCRIBE:
- back breaking
- butt aching
- tiring
- fun
SOMETHINGSWEDID:
- scream till your voice is coarse
- play games and more games
- lying down on the cool ground and gaze at stars early in the morning around 12 to 1 am
- coming up with an endless number of cheers
- competition between groups
- performances, dressing up of group leaders (EG. one guy wore a tube and skirt)
- lectures about astrology
- listening to group leaders, main and sub committee members tell ghost stories
- night walk starting from 2am to 5am
- silly dances -.-
yup.. can anyone spot ORION in the sky? 3 stars are diagonal, forming his belt. four stars around it in a trapezium like shape make up his body. haha shall tell the story --
ORION was a hunter, and an exceptionally good one at that. Only thing was, he loved to boast and being the proud guy he was, he told everyone he could hunt any/every animal down. When the goddess of earth heard about it, she was worried. In a way, Orion meant that he could wipe out the whole earth. So she sent Scorpius (obviously a scorpion) to fight with him.
Orion was winning, but he fell and died when Scorpius bit his heel.
In order to remember both Orion and Scorpius, the gods put them up in the night sky as stars. Orion on one side, and Scorpius on the other side so as not to allow them to meet (its as if they are chasing each other endlessly).
Something like that.. lol. OK, i've got to get ready to go to the airport.
