today's game..

Just played 20 minutes of the game. Entered this room where there were so many dolls.. they said this room and its dolls belong to some girl. In the doll display, there was this swirly thing (indication of ghost). Snapped once; went closer. Snapped twice, "There seems to be something". A rearrangement of dolls? Weird... plus all the dolls are in a better condition.

Upon leaving the room, the camera indicator flashed a bright light.

*GHOST ALERT!

Supposingly the 'woman in the box', she trys standing up from the floor and stagger towards Mio, switching from a slow pace to a fast one. Thank god for walkthroughs, or i wouldn't have known that she would die ONLY if i took a picture of her when she was standing up. Zero shot twice, 1170 pts... disappeared soon after.

Was heading toward the save point when this ghost appeared and said, "Why do you run..." Thought i had to fight that thing but it disappeared. *heaves a sigh of relief

Oh yah... i forgot to mention that after leaving the doll room (after which you have to enter the Flickering Room as its the only exit), we found two doll heads. Got to go back to the Doll Room and put them back on two of the headless dolls. Uh-uh.. ain't going to do that today. (hanah... you can call me dan xiao if you want) And there was the first part 'Butterfly Diary'. Can't seem to recall what that particular entry said, shall check the internet later.

Quite confused now... there's Sae and Yae who i assume are girl twins, and another pair of twin boys. A reporter who got lost and his girlfriend believing that he's still there goes into the haunted village. The white haired boy whose locked in the Tsuchihara Storehouse urges Mio to find Mayu and get out of this village A.S.A.P.

Right now i'm trying to find more information on the Butterfly Diary and the other characters.. the sites i have visited so far only give info on the Amakura (Mio & Mayu) twins. -- OK, found it:

Mio Amakura
(The main character)
Mio is the younger twin. She is sorry for Mayu, since she feels that she's to blame for Mayu's childhood accident. Thus, Mio always wants to protect Maya.
She has the sixth sense. Mio finds the Camera Obscura which allows her to capture and drain the dead. Also in the lost village, when she and Mayu touches each other; Mio herself might be able to see what Mayu sees.

Mayu Amakura
(The older sister)
You only play Mayu for a few short periods in the game.
The older of the Amakura twins. She is gentle, withdrawn and thoughtful.
She also has the stronger psychic ability but has little resistance and the ghost use this to their advantage.
When Mio and Mayu were younger they were playing on a cliff. Mio was running ahead of Mayu and Mayu was trying to catch up to Mio but fell down the side of the cliff. Due to the accident she now has a permanent limp and is physically weak. Though she doesn't blame Mio for her accident, she made her a promise: never to leave her sister again.

Itsuki Tachibana
(The white hair boy)
Itsuki is a prisoner. He communicates to Mio though a window in his cell, and calls Mio, Yae.
He was the remaining twin during his ritual. Because of stress, his hair has turned a shade of white. He has never wanted anyone to go though the ritual. When it was Yae and Sae's turn, he tried to warn them. He ended up getting thrown into prison and he later hung himself.
"Yae! Get out of the village!"
Seijiro Makabe
(An expert in folklore)
He comes to the village in order to know more about the Ritual.
"What is this?"

Totally forgot about the Kurosawa Hidden Passageway! Found the old paper on a table which wasn't there at first. Can't seem to match any part of it to the Kurosawa map that we are now using.. its the only exit out of this place.
